Global Compact for Migration: From political to practical
In October 2018 a select group of 55 key stakeholders were invited to discuss how collaboration is key to realising the ambitions of the new Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration whilst balancing the interests and concerns of countries of origin, transit and destination countries. The event organised by Wilton Park in partnership with the Overseas Development Institute brought together key policymakers and practitioners from regional and global bodies, private agencies, civil societies and philanthropic bodies. Cathryn Costello joined the panel discussing practical implementation including a focus on who the key players are and opportunities for innovation.
